Token graduation on BNB Chain: how UP9000 works
By UP90003 min read
Graduation is the move from a launch curve to a decentralized exchange pool. On UP9000, it is tied to a configured amount of the selected pairing asset, not to a timer or a social media milestone.
The short answer
- Buyers and sellers move the curve toward or away from its target.
- The launch reserves fund pool creation. A separate full liquidity deposit is not required.
- Locked liquidity does not guarantee a token price or a buyer for every sell.

Before graduation: trading on the curve
A bonding curve is a pricing rule used by the launch contract. Buying changes its reserves and the next quoted price. Selling changes them in the other direction. The available trade quote, fees and slippage settings determine the transaction you actually submit.
The progress indicator is based on the quote reserves counted toward the target. It is not the percentage of total supply held by buyers, and it is not a countdown that guarantees a pool will open.
The target follows the pair
A BNB launch counts progress in BNB. A stock paired launch counts in the configured stock token units. Each quote asset has its own settings, which are recorded for the launch.
Imagine a launch with a target of 100 quote tokens. At 60 quote tokens, progress is 60%. If those quote tokens are worth $20 each, the target has a $2,000 reference value. At $15 each, that same target is worth $1,500. These are illustrative numbers, not current launch settings.
Who adds the liquidity?
The graduation flow uses reserves from the launch to seed the PancakeSwap Infinity pool. The creator does not need to provide another complete liquidity contribution after the curve fills.
Pool creation still needs a blockchain transaction. UP9000 uses a keeper to discover eligible launches and submit that work. A transaction can be delayed by RPC availability, gas funding or a failed execution, so reaching the target and having an active pool are distinct states.
When the token page offers a manual completion action, it is an alternative way to request the same pool creation. Check the current state first and review the network fee.
What does locked liquidity mean?
The protocol locks the liquidity created during graduation. This prevents that locked position from being withdrawn through the ordinary creator flow.
It does not stop holders from selling, guarantee a minimum price or remove restrictions imposed by a quote token issuer. Liquidity locking and price stability are different things.
After graduation: check the new market
Trading uses the pool after graduation. Review the token page for its current pool status, quote asset, fees and buyback information. A buyback and lock is not the same action as a burn, and neither guarantees future returns.
If the pool is not active yet, do not assume that sending extra funds to a contract will fix it. Follow the status shown in the app and only use the explicit transaction actions it presents.
- Confirm the token contract and pool status.
- Use a fresh trade quote with a deliberate slippage limit.
- Check the paired asset balance and keep BNB for gas.
